Market Basket to limit customers amid stricter grocer coronavirus precautions

Market Basket is ramping up coronavirus precautions and limiting the number of customers in New England stores after two Chelsea employees tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week, the company announced.
The regulations, among the strictest social distancing guidelines yet announced by grocery stores, went into effect Thursday and include an associate wiping down customers' shopping carts upon entering and stores using a single entrance and exit. Occupancy limits will be determined by each location's size.
