Ibaka's 3-pointer helps Raptors survive Wizards in double OT

WASHINGTON - Serge Ibaka hit a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left in the second overtime, and the Toronto Raptors survived to earn their fifth straight win, 140-138 over the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
The Raptors blew a 23-point lead but outlasted the stubborn Wizards, who never led until early in the second extra period.
Toronto, which was led by Kawhi Leonard's 41 points and 11 rebounds, led 51-28 with four minutes to play in the second quarter and 96-79 with 57 seconds to play in the third.

Wheeler's overtime goal helps Canada win women's under-18 world championship

OBIHIRO, Japan - Maddi Wheeler scored in overtime as Canada defeated the United States 3-2 on Sunday to win its fifth under-18 women's world hockey championship.
Wheeler, from Erinsville, Ont., drove hard to the net and jammed home her own rebound just 1:34 into overtime, giving Canada its first world title since 2014.
“I picked the puck up in the neutral zone, passed it off to me. We were on a 4-on-3 power play so I had some space,” said Wheeler. “I drove wide and picked up my own rebound. We had a good net drive, so it was wide open.”
