What to watch tonight in PyeongChang: Shaun White, Mikaela Shiffrin go for gold

The 2018 Winter Olympic Games continue tonight with a full schedule of events in PyeongChang. Shaun White and Mikaela Shiffrin will go for gold in the mens snowboarding halfpipe and womens slalom, respectively, while the figure skating pairs short program begins. Adding to the drama - if either White or Shiffrin wins gold, they'll be capturing the 100th all-time Winter Olympic gold medal for the United States. The mens and womens curling tournaments are also set to get underway with round robin play, and the U.S.

Snowboarding legend Shaun White is aiming for gold Wednesday morning in his signature event of the men's halfpipe at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea .
After easily qualifying for the men's snowboarding halfpipe finals Tuesday, White faces stiff competition heading into the finals, where he will square off against Australia's Scotty James and Japan's Ayumu Hirano.
The competition follows the women's snowboarding halfpipe finals, where American phenom Chloe Kim won gold and became the youngest woman to do so in the event in Winter Olympics history.
