One of the consensus greatest mixed martial artists of all time is set to be immortalized in the UFC Hall of Fame this summer.
During the UFC 286 broadcast Saturday, the promotion announced former middleweight champion Anderson Silva will be among those inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, as part of the class of 2023.
Other announced members of the 2023 class include former UFC champions Jose Aldo and Jens Pulver. Silva will enter the “Pioneer Wing,” as his career started prior to the implementation of the Unified Rules of MMA.

UFC 286 video: Jack Shore submits Makwan Amirkhani in Round 2 to win featherweight debut

LONDON - Jack Shore was successful in his featherweight debut at UFC 286 .
Shore submitted Makwan Amirkhani in Round 2 of their featured prelim bout at The O2. In a back-and-forth grappling affair, Shore was eventually able to fend off Amirkhani's takedowns, before submitting him with a rear-naked choke at the 4:27 mark of the second frame.

Yanal Ashmoz entered enemy territory an underdog at UFC 286 and he exited with a nasty knockout added to his highlight reel. In 75 seconds, Ashmoz finished Sam Patterson with punches to pick up his first promotional win. The event took place Saturday at The O2 in London.
