The White House has warned US chipmakers it may curb exports to Russia if tensions between Moscow and Kiev escalate
In a phone call last Friday, White House National Security Council officials Peter Harrell and Tarun Chhabra reportedly told representatives of the Semiconductor Industry Association to get ready for immediate actions in the chip sector if Russia invades Ukraine.

If Washington wants to do a deal with Moscow over security guarantees in Europe, it must agree to make a binding commitment that it will never allow Ukraine to become a part of NATO, Russia has insisted.
