Keith Jackson, for decades the signature voice of college football on ABC, has died. He was 89. Jackson died Friday night in California surrounded by family, according to media reports. Known for his phrase “Whoa, Nellie,” Jackson called numerous sports for ABC, but he was recognized mostly for his work on college football.
