Drugmaker Ipsen, which has Cambridge site, adds ethics training for sales reps

While pharmaceutical companies are under fire for pushing physicians to prescribe more deadly opioids, one drugmaker with a Cambridge address has decided to police its own employees. Ipsen - a French biotech firm with a local research site - has enrolled a third of its sales reps and liaisons in a program through the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs, which aims to set ethical standards in the regulatory wild west of pharmaceutical sales.
